Advance Local is seeking an experienced Programmatic Partnerships Lead focused on fostering strong relationships with SSP/DSP demand teams, advertisers, and agencies to curate high-quality inventory packages that drive PMP revenue and deliver performant outcomes for Advance Local’s Programmatic Direct Team. This role will focus on with strategic partnership development, inventory curation and deal optimization, and use data-driven insights to maximize revenue.
By focusing on SSP curation, inventory optimization, sales prospecting, and building strong relationships with demand teams, the Programmatic Partnerships Lead will play a crucial role in driving Programmatic Direct revenue and maximizing the value of Advance Local's inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
SSP Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at SSP/DSP demand teams to gain a deeper understanding of business incentives, and in-demand audiences/inventory. Demand Generation, Inventory Curation, and Deal Optimization:
Strategically curate and optimize Advance Local's inventory packages (display, video, native, and audio) to align with SSP/DSP preferences, ensuring maximum discoverability, monetization, and yield Data-Driven Insights:
Leverage data analytics to identify Curation trends, optimize inventory and pricing performance, and maximize revenue. Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams (e.g., programmatic revenue strategy, programmatic ad operations, product/tech, marketing) to ensure seamless integration and execution of Programmatic Direct initiatives. Sales Prospecting:
Focus on growing PMP revenue from Curated Deals through sales prospecting efforts with assigned SSP/DSP demand teams. Upselling Opportunities:
Uncover opportunities to move top Curated Deal advertisers to 1:1 PMP Deals and facilitate deep relationships that drive additional value. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in programmatic advertising, with a proven track record in driving PMP revenue for publisher through SSP and/or DSP demand development. Deep understanding of publisher monetization, SSP/DSP operations, and programmatic buying strategies. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, data visualization platforms). Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships. Proven ability to negotiate and close PMP deals effectively. Passion for programmatic monetization and a continuous drive to stay updated on industry trends and best practices. Additional Skills: Experience with header bidding and Prebid technologies. Knowledge of ad tech ecosystem and key players. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
