Job Description: CAD Design Manager

The CAD Design Manager plays a critical role in coordinating technical efforts, improving design methodologies, and ensuring the highest level of design excellence. What You Will Experience in This Position:
Lead and directly manage the CAD Designer team, providing support and technical expertise. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new talent. Manage resources to ensure proper staffing across projects. Coordinate with various functions to prioritize project deadlines and allocate resources efficiently. Conduct regular 1-on-1 meetings for professional development and performance evaluations. Support creation and maintenance of procedures, training modules, and records. Participate in project meetings to review designs and project statuses. Contribute to early project bidding by assessing engineering hours for planning. Develop and optimize processes to enhance team efficiencies. Stay updated on industry trends and CAD software advancements. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 7+ years experience leading CAD Design teams. Expertise in project management and team leadership. Proficiency with SolidWorks 3D modeling. Knowledge of critical design tools (e.g., DFMEA/DFM). Electrical design and drafting experience preferred. Familiarity with Jira, Enovia. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration. We Offer:
