System Architect/Team Lead

The Puyenpa family of companies, comprising multiple SBA Certified Native American Tribal 8(a) and multi-certified organizations, specializes in delivering Information Technology, Management Consulting, and General Construction solutions to the Federal Government and the Commercial Sector. We are actively seeking a System Architect/Team Lead. This full-time position will be based on-site at a government facility in Washington DC, with possible situational telework upon coordination. A Top Secret clearance is required. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join the Puyenpa team supporting the Team Awareness Kit (TAK) Interagency program. Key responsibilities include: Providing immediate support and communication with federal program managers and USSS federal team leaders. Maintaining excellent coordination with the Department of Defense and law enforcement partners. Attending classified meetings to stay informed on technological upgrades and modernization efforts related to TAK. Collaborating with CISO and Cyber Security teams to ensure IT security compliance. Creating and updating reports, proposals, and documentation for platform upgrades. Developing standard operating procedures, help desk flowcharts, manuals, and user guides for TAK. Coordinating with mission planning systems, cellular, and tactical radio networks. Maintaining communication with key government personnel and contractors about platform updates. Recommending IT security enhancements aligned with technological advancements. Working with enterprise server teams to develop policies for interagency applications. Performing administrator support, server installations, and supporting third-party software. Ensuring physical and electronic security of government equipment and infrastructure. Supporting system maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation. Participating in security accreditation and certification processes. Providing tier-two escalation support for help desk tickets, including end-user devices. Supporting classified environments and interagency communication for National Security Events. Integrating hardware/software upgrades to enhance operational platforms. Requirements include: Subject Matter Expert expertise level. 10+ years of IT Systems Architecture experience. Experience with Azure Cloud, Linux (Red Hat/CentOS), Windows, VMware, Network Security, Mobile Applications, MDM, Radio Networks, and Geospatial servers. 10 years of TAK experience.
