The Senior Manager, Health Economics & Reimbursement will be based in Minnetonka, MN, Santa Clara, CA, Sylmar, CA, or Austin, TX. This role is responsible for developing and executing value-focused economic and reimbursement strategies, supporting customers seeking reimbursement for Abbott therapies with an in-depth understanding of US coding, coverage, and payment systems. The position acts as a strategic business partner to the Abbott Cardiac Rhythm Management business primarily in the U.S. and supports international teams. Responsibilities include developing and communicating economic models, collaborating with Marketing, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory, Sales, and other functions, presenting to diverse audiences including C-suite executives, and developing education programs for internal and external stakeholders. The role monitors health policy and macroeconomic changes, provides analysis for reimbursement and coverage strategies, maintains relationships with reimbursement teams and payers, and ensures compliance with FDA regulations and company policies. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 9 years’ experience or 6 years with an advanced degree. Preferred qualifications include experience in reimbursement for medical devices, especially Cardiac Rhythm Management, understanding of U.S. payer models, health policy, health economics, and strong communication and strategic skills. The position involves travel up to 10% of the time and requires collaboration across multiple departments and stakeholders. Seniority level
