Job Description: Arizona State University's Learning Enterprise is seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Global Outreach to lead marketing efforts across our Learning Innovations portfolio, with a primary focus on Planetary Health. The ideal candidate combines a strong product marketing background with a passion for planetary health topics, including conservation, sustainability, water, and energy. This role will also lead product marketing for initiatives that include Ask a Biologist, Learner Health and other emerging projects. This role is based at ASU’s Tempe campus. Salary Range:
$110,000 - $140,000 ; Depends on experience In the first 3 months, the role will: Develop and launch a comprehensive, multi-year go-to-market strategy for a new global Planetary Health initiative, clearly articulating the business models, target markets, unique value propositions and targeted audience segments. Forge collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders, including content creators, faculty subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams. Establish KPI’s to measure progress against learner and revenue goals and evaluate the effectiveness of go-to-market and outreach campaigns. Go-to-Market Strategy Development: Create and implement go-to-market strategies, including market research, segmentation, and positioning, particularly focused on planetary health (conservation, sustainability, water, energy) and Ask A Biologist portfolio. Campaign Execution: Manage the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize outcomes. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Sustainability, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred. Demonstrated experience in global product marketing within dynamic, fast-paced environments, preferably startups or high-growth organizations. Proven expertise in marketing programs focused on conservation, sustainability, environmental sciences, or related planetary health areas. Exceptional strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to convert innovative ideas into actionable marketing strategies. Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse; required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work. Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds. Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities, which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts. May be required to perform tasks in the field within and/or across University campuses. Ability to clearly communicate to perform essential functions.
