is seeking a
Quality Inspector
to support a valued client by ensuring excellence in incoming, in-process, and finished goods inspections. If you're experienced with quality assurance tools and enjoy working in a hands-on environment, we'd love to hear from you! What You'll Do: As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that materials and products meet precise specifications and high-quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
Performing inspections on incoming materials, in-process items, first articles, finished goods, and customer returns Using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify product quality Reviewing and processing customer/vendor returns and managing associated documentation Auditing for compliance with specifications and quality procedures Using an ERP system to match incoming materials with purchase orders Identifying defects and completing Non-Conformance Reports as needed Supporting a clean, organized, and accurate documentation system Promoting quality and service excellence throughout the production process
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or GED At least
1 year of experience
in quality inspection or quality assurance Proficient with calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools Familiarity with reading blueprints, Bills of Materials, and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) Strong communication skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and within a team
Physical & Work Environment Requirements:
Regular standing, walking, and lifting (up to 15 lbs) Ability to push a cart with up to 100 lbs of materials Full range of motion: bending, stretching, and stooping Visual and hearing acuity required for inspection and communication Exposure to moderate noise, moving parts, and airborne particles Use of personal protective equipment as needed
