Experience Required:
8+ Years A leading Commercial General Contractor in the DFW area is seeking a skilled Superintendent with proven experience delivering ground-up public-sector projects. Specializing in municipal, K-12, government, and community buildings, this firm has built a reputation for quality work and long-standing client relationships. They are now looking to add an experienced Superintendent to their team—someone who can take full ownership of the field and deliver projects safely, on time, and to a high standard. Responsibilities: Oversee all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking to final completion Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel Maintain the project schedule, identifying and resolving issues that may impact deadlines Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety, quality, and building standards Conduct daily site walks and monitor progress to ensure alignment with plans and specifications Lead site meetings with subcontractors and project team members Communicate regularly with Project Managers, Architects, and Owners regarding site updates Maintain accurate daily reports, field documentation, and project logs Enforce company safety policies and participate in site inspections and audits Assist with site logistics planning and materials coordination Requirements: Minimum 8 years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial projects Direct experience managing municipal, K-12, government, or community projects Strong tenures at previous employers—demonstrated stability and long-term project leadership Excellent knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety regulations Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and schedules Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Proficient in construction management software and reporting tools What’s Offered: Long-term career growth within a reputable and stable contractor Opportunity to lead meaningful public-sector projects across DFW If you're a Superintendent looking to join a respected GC with a strong pipeline of work and a commitment to quality, we'd like to hear from you.
