Head of Americas Sector Marketing

to lead strategic marketing efforts across the Americas region, including

Latin America

. This role is pivotal in shaping customer behavior and driving business impact across our

Retail Fuels

,

Lubricants

, and

Lower Carbon Fuels

sectors. This role is the key connection point with Sales, Products and Technology, responsible for setting marketing priorities, managing budgets, and owning programs that drive customer behavior and business growth. You’ll lead loyalty, partnerships, payments, and retailer/marketer initiatives, while guiding execution teams with clarity and precision. Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Responsible for translating the overall marketing strategy and sales team go-to-market strategies to actionable marketing plans. Engages and collaborates with Americas Sales teams and Fuels and Lubricants Product & Technology to determine business strategy and objectives and align on marketing’s role in achieving those objectives

Establishes marketing priorities and investment levels across Fuels, Lubricants, Chemicals and lower carbon sectors for the Americas markets. Focused on identifying the highest value, highest impact opportunities to drive defined business objectives

Executes business planning process and is accountable for budget management and outcomes. Allocates spend across sectors and planned marketing activity (campaigns, programs/services, offers, etc.), making tradeoffs as necessary.

Creates customer and consumer value propositions to deliver Chevron’s objective of lower carbon and higher returns, leveraging insights and performance data from the Strategy team

Oversees the design of marketing strategies and consumer and customer programs for the Chevron and Texaco brands, including the ChevronTexaco Rewards loyalty program. Accountable for program economics and impact on customer retention and centricity, volume and market share growth and stability, and gross margin improvement.

Leads the Americas loyalty and credit card programs ensuring effective program delivery and customer experience.

Supports identification and negotiation of strategic marketing partnerships that meaningfully advance customer acquisition and retention opportunities, in new or existing markets. Oversees team managing and optimizing existing partnerships, i.e., Albertsons.

Teams closely with Technology Delivery and Platform Management, to establish technology requirements for program execution

Drives coordination with International Marketing and Execution leader to capture synergies and share best practices around program and offer development

Leads a team of 20+ highly-experienced resources (some local, some in regions, some off-shore),

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree.

10+ years of progressive experience with combination of marketing, sales, and programs

Experience managing large-scale budgets and teams

Proven success in regional and cross-sector marketing

Strong understanding of customer behavior and digital engagement

5+ years in a leadership role

Ability to travel ~30-40% of the time as necessary

Preferred Qualifications: MBA or Masters degree in Business, Marketing or related field

5+ years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Experience in one or more of the following: Retail fuels, lubricants, chemicals

Experience in loyalty programs and sector marketing
