Ownership About the RoleAs Clinical Director, you will provide leadership and vision to the nursing and clinical teams, ensuring high-quality, resident-focused care every day. You'll manage resident health through ongoing monitoring and collaboration with healthcare providers, while fostering a motivated, stable team dedicated to excellence.You may also step in as Executive Director when needed to keep the community running smoothly.What You'll DoLead, hire, train, and mentor the Wellness team with a strong emphasis on teamwork and open communicationPromote and uphold CAPLICO values, resident rights, HIPAA compliance, and a respectful environmentEnsure resident safety by proactively identifying risks and preventing harmOversee infection control and regulatory compliance, including staffing levels and immunization trackingCollaborate with leadership, residents, families, and external providers to optimize care plansManage clinical assessments, documentation, and quality improvement initiativesParticipate in community and cluster meetings and support financial planning and budgetingRespond promptly and professionally to emergencies and unexpected situationsMaintain valid licenses and certifications and pursue ongoing professional developmentWhat Success Looks LikeYou inspire your team by leading with empathy, professionalism, and clear communicationYou maintain a safe, supportive environment that residents, families, and staff trust and respectYou effectively coordinate care with multiple stakeholders and maintain regulatory excellenceYou bring calm and sound decision-making in high-pressure situationsYou embrace continuous learning and foster growth in yourself and othersWhat We're Looking ForCurrent license/certification as required by state/federal bodiesMinimum 1 year experience in assisted living or healthcare settingsProven leadership/supervisory experience in clinical or healthcare environmentsCurrent CPR certification and any other required state-specific certificationsStrong computer skills and ability to use electronic records and communicationsValid driver's license and clean driving recordWork Environment & Physical DemandsYou'll work throughout the community engaging with residents, staff, families, and visitors.
