Mission Provide strategic functional leadership and drive the design and delivery of best-in-class, enterprise-wide supply chain transformation initiatives—setting standards, guiding operational excellence, and ensuring implementation of industry best practices across planning, procurement, manufacturing, and distribution.

Outcomes What must this role achieve in a measurable way in its first year? · Define and gain executive approval for future-state supply chain operating models and functional standards covering at least 80% of core business units within 6 months. · Lead successful functional design and strategy for at least 2 major supply chain transformation programs, ensuring timely and quality delivery of functional requirements and designs. · Establish and document supply chain policies, standards, and governance frameworks, and achieve full adoption by all relevant teams within 9 months. · Drive at least 2 innovation initiatives applying emerging supply chain technologies or methodologies, delivering measurable process improvements or cost savings within the first year. · Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of 15–30 business analysts, process experts, and functional specialists, with 90% team engagement and retention metrics. · Partner with Program Managers and Business Analysts to ensure seamless functional delivery and business alignment, validated by successful completion of all functional workstreams within transformation project timelines. · Develop and deliver at least 2 organizational capability-building programs or training sessions that uplift internal knowledge of supply chain best practices.

Functional Expertise:

Deep knowledge of end-to-end supply chain operations (planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics) and experience in leading functional strategy/design. ·

Leadership & Mentorship:

Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams of analysts and functional specialists across complex, multi-project environments. ·

Strategic Thinking:

Demonstrated success in defining target operating models, establishing functional standards, and aligning designs to business strategy and industry benchmarks. ·

Stakeholder Partnership:

Skilled collaborator, able to build consensus and coordinate across Program Managers, Business Analysts, and senior leadership to drive transformation forward. ·

Innovation Mindset:

Proactive in identifying and validating new technologies or methodologies, and driving change across teams and functions. ·

Decision-Making:

Effective in providing timely and sound functional guidance on high-stakes or ambiguous supply chain challenges. ·

Governance & Policy Development:

Experienced in designing, standardizing, and implementing governance frameworks that underpin organizational supply chain excellence. ·

Communication:

Excellent written and verbal communicator, skilled at engaging executive and operational audiences and driving consistent messaging across transformation programs.

Credentials & Experience (for use in resume screening) · Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field. · 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain leadership, functional design, or transformation. · Prior experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in global, enterprise-level supply chain projects. · Track record of designing and implementing new supply chain operating models, standards, or innovation initiatives. · Recognized supply chain certifications (APICS, CSCP, Lean/Six Sigma) are highly desirable.
