(Hexagon) is seeking a Principal Product Owner for our Smart 3D application. The Principal Product Owner will work with application users, field sales, strategy, sales enablement, marketing, research & development, and other domain / subject matter experts (SMEs) to define, plan and manage R&D investments in accordance with strategic priorities. Synthesize and abstract market requirements into Initiatives, Business Themes, Epics and User Stories that capture and articulate the requirements for implementation by research and development teams. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine business value, feasibility and prepare Conceptual Designs that address the requirements in the context of the existing framework. Guide the development, certification, and support experts within an agile development environment to ensure that requirements and concepts are understood, client expectations are met, and requirements are achievable and ultimately delivered. Consult with the field organization and customers about software system design and usability. Provide input to, and feedback on, the processes of software system testing and validation, programming, and documentation. Set priorities and provide business value proposition content for marketing programs. Support strategic client sales by working with pre-sales teams. Attend user conferences, regional sales meetings etc. to present Hexagon ALI strategies in the above product areas. Prepare and present Webinars / Marketing collaterals etc. to promote Hexagon ALI product direction. Work alongside other SMEs to facilitate and harmonize product direction. Facilitate Customer engagement in Technical User Forums, Product Planning, Sprint reviews. Collaborate with product owners in other areas like Schematics, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, Operations and Maintenance.#LI-RM #LI-REMOTE Qualifications

Engineering background with 10+ years of experience in EPC and/or Owner Operator companies in Process, Power and Marine industries. Experience with Plant Design software such as Intergraph Smart 3D or other similar products Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology, principles, techniques and procedures. Experience managing a team of knowledge workers Define and Manage Projects and Programs Excellent presentation, planning and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Commitment to Results Travel: up to 20% Hexagon will not sponsor applicants for a work visa for this position. #LI-remote About the company
