Vice President of Operations
to lead our next phase of growth and operational excellence. About the Role Reporting directly to ownership, the
VP of Operations
will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing regional and on-site teams, and driving performance across our multifamily and commercial assets. The ideal candidate will bring strategic thinking, operational rigor, and a deep understanding of property management best practices. Key Responsibilities Oversee operations for a portfolio of
several thousand residential units
and select commercial properties.
Lead, mentor, and support a team of property managers, regional leaders, and administrative staff.
Create and implement operational systems, SOPs, and KPIs to maximize performance and tenant satisfaction.
Partner with ownership on budgeting, capital planning, and long-term asset strategies.
Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency gains, and revenue growth across the portfolio.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal housing regulations.
Oversee vendor management, contract negotiations, and maintenance planning.
Foster a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and resident-first service.
What We’re Looking For 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in
multifamily property management , ideally with both residential and commercial exposure.
Demonstrated success overseeing
large-scale portfolios
(1,000+ units).
Strong financial acumen: budget creation, P&L ownership, capital expenditures.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and build operational infrastructure.
Knowledge of Southern California real estate and regulatory landscape.
Experience working with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, MRI).
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or industry certifications (e.g., CPM, ARM) a plus.
