The Senior Vice President of Information Technology (SVP, IT) is a strategic and operational leader responsible for advancing the YMCA of Greater Charlotte’s technology capabilities in support of its Christian mission to create meaningful connections, improve health and wellbeing, and transform lives. As a key member of the senior leadership team, this role provides visionary leadership and hands-on management of the YMCA’s IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, digital innovation, data strategy, helpdesk operations, and end-user training. The SVP IT ensures that technology is a mission-aligned enabler of operational excellence, accessibility, and community impact. Required Qualifications • Ten or more years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 5-7 years managing IT teams in complex, multi-site organizations. • Proven track record leading large-scale system implementations and technology transformations. • Strong experience with enterprise platforms, notably Salesforce and Microsoft 365. • Demonstrated ability to manage complex vendor relationships and large budgets. • Experience validating technology solutions through direct engagement with end users and operational staff. • Excellent communication and leadership skills with ability to influence at all organizational levels. All YMCA team members are expected to maintain a current and active status for all safety, risk, and programming certifications defined by the YMCA of Greater Charlotte.

Preferred Qualifications • YMCA or multi-site nonprofit experience with understanding of membership-program-fundraising integration. • Experience with YMCA-specific systems (TractionRec, UltraCamp, Alaris). • Background in completing stalled or troubled system implementations. • Knowledge of specialized program systems (childcare check-in, camp management, sports leagues).
