FPGA Engineer – R&D Cyber Solutions

What You’ll Do:
As an Embedded Hardware Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing innovative solutions for cyber and electronic warfare (EW) operations. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to design, prototype, and evolve embedded systems using FPGA technology. Your work will directly impact mission success by delivering high-performance, reliable systems tailored to real-world operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop FPGA-based embedded systems using VHDL and low-level programming. Integrate software and hardware components for cyber and EW applications. Collaborate with software developers and systems engineers to create end-to-end solutions. Support R&D efforts in modeling, simulation, and novel cyber capabilities. Stay current with emerging technologies and apply them to mission-critical challenges.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in electrical or embedded systems engineering. Proficiency in FPGA development, VHDL, and embedded programming. Experience with C, C++, and MATLAB. Familiarity with Linux environments (RedHat, Rocky Linux). Active Secret clearance. High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with software-defined radios (SDRs) and DSP algorithms. Hands-on experience with Xilinx SoC and RFSoC platforms. Knowledge of digital RF sampling, modulation techniques, and signal compression. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. TS/SCI clearance.
