The Role
As an embedded hardware engineer, you’ll shape the Army Cyber mission by developing new technology for the warfighter. You will design, develop, and evolve systems with advanced technology solutions, broadening your skills in Cyber Operations, Modeling and Simulation for EW and Cyber, and other capabilities. Your expertise in software development and FPGA will be key to creating innovative engineering solutions in an R&D environment.
You Have
5+ years of experience with electrical engineering
Experience with FPGA, VHDL coding, and low-level programming
Experience with C, C++, and MATLAB
Experience with embedded hardware systems
Knowledge of Linux distributions, including RedHat and Rocky Linux
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have
Experience developing for software-defined radios (SDRs)
Experience with DSP signal processing algorithms
Experience with Xilinx SoC and RFSoC devices
Experience with digital RF sampling, modulations, error correction, or compression
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or CS
Additional Details
Applicants must be eligible for security clearance. The salary range is $77,600 to $176,000 annually. The position supports a flexible work model with remote, hybrid, or onsite options. We are committed to non-discrimination and equal opportunity employment.
