Roles and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for completing assigned projects and maintaining strong client relationships. This includes developing strategies to minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI) between transmission lines and infrastructure such as railways or pipelines, conducting electromagnetic field assessments, designing mitigation systems, and providing technical support for affected systems. The role requires participation in proposal writing, customer engagement, and mentoring junior engineers. Travel may be required. Required Education/Experience
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) At least 10 years of experience in electromagnetic compatibility analysis Knowledge of railroad signaling, electromagnetic fields, and interference principles Experience with EMI assessment and mitigation design Proficiency with CDEGS/HIFREQ or similar software Strong communication skills in English Desired Education/Experience
Power Systems-focused MSEE or PhD Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent Experience with high voltage power systems and electromagnetic transient software POWER Engineers offers a comprehensive benefits package, competitive salary range ($105,000 - $225,000), and a dynamic work environment focused on innovation and impact.
