We are currently looking for a
Power Systems Data Consultant
in
Texas (USA) . As a Power Systems Data Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming utility operations through data-driven solutions that power smarter, more resilient energy grids. You’ll support the integration and optimization of platforms such as ADMS, DERMS, EMS, SCADA, and AMI, helping utility clients harness real-time data for better forecasting, decision-making, and system reliability. You'll collaborate with technical stakeholders, structure operational data, and ensure interoperability across platforms. This role offers high-impact work in a fast-paced consulting environment focused on innovation and energy transformation. Accountabilities: Deliver end-to-end support on utility-focused projects involving system integration, data modeling, and analytics. Ingest, structure, and validate operational data from multiple sources (e.g., SCADA, EMS, AMI, ADMS, DERMS, weather systems). Apply Common Information Model (CIM) standards to maintain platform interoperability and data consistency. Develop analytics workflows for grid visibility, forecasting, and event response. Use Python, SQL, or similar tools to automate data transformation and system behavior analysis. Assist with cross-platform integration and migration strategies involving ADMS, DERMS, EMS, and AMIS. Contribute to the design and testing of pipelines, dashboards, and reporting tools. Collaborate with senior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives and accelerators. 3–6 years of experience with utility or energy data platforms, preferably in a consulting or vendor environment. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Hands-on experience with grid systems like ADMS, DERMS, EMS, AMI, or SCADA. Strong understanding of CIM (IEC 61970/61968) standards and structure. Proficiency in data scripting and transformation tools (Python, SQL, etc.). Proven ability to collaborate with technical teams and translate requirements into usable models and workflows. Clear, concise communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. Competitive base salary range: $125,000–$145,000, based on experience, skills, and location. Performance-based bonuses and incentive opportunities.
