Job Description
Our utility clients rely on data to operate smarter, cleaner, and more reliable grids. As a Power Systems Data Consultant at Logic20/20, you’ll play a key role in delivering the technical backbone for system modernization projects across ADMS, DERMS, EMS, SCADA, and AMI. Your work in structuring, integrating, and interpreting operational data will directly support real-time decisions and long-term planning across the grid.
Client Delivery and Data Integration
Support delivery of utility-facing projects that involve system integration, modeling, and analytics
Ingest and organize data from SCADA, EMS, AMI, ADMS, DERMS, weather, and other operational sources
Apply the Common Information Model (CIM) to ensure consistency and interoperability across platforms
Collaborate with client stakeholders and technical teams to define requirements and deliver clear, usable data models
Analytics and Forecasting Support
Develop models and analytics workflows that support forecasting, grid visibility, and event response
Conduct system behavior analysis to detect trends, inconsistencies, or data quality issues
Build scripts and tools in Python, SQL, or similar platforms to automate data transformation and validation
Cross-System Coordination
Assist in mapping and connecting operational platforms like ADMS, DERMS, EMS, AMIS, and planning tools
Help validate CIM alignment across data layers and support migration efforts as needed
Participate in design and testing of data pipelines, visualization dashboards, and reporting mechanisms
Project Collaboration and Internal Growth
Work closely with senior consultants and solution architects to align your technical work with broader delivery objectives
Contribute to internal tools, frameworks, and accelerators used across utility projects
Support documentation and knowledge sharing within the delivery team
Qualifications:
Qualifications
3-6 years experience working utilities or energy data platforms, ideally in a consulting or vendor support context
Degree in electrical engineering, power systems, computer science, or a related field
Working knowledge of CIM (IEC 61970/61968) and its structure
Experience with grid systems (ADMS, DERMS, EMS, AMI, or SCADA)
Proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar tools

At Logic20/20, we believe in recognizing and rewarding exceptional talent. Logic20/20 offers a competitive compensation package, with a target base salary range of
$125,000 - $145,000 .The final base salary offered is dependent on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and location. Eligible employees may also qualify for performance-based bonuses and other incentives.
