Senior System Engineer III

RBR-Technologies is seeking a System Engineer to support one of our customers in Fort Meade, MD. RESPONSIBILITIES The Level 3 System Engineer shall possess the following capabilities: Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) - Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Service-oriented Architecture (SOA), etc. Contribute to the development of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents. Assist with developing system requirements, functional requirements, and their allocation to hardware, software, facilities, and personnel components. Coordinate resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews requiring cross-discipline coordination. Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities considering development and operational factors. Allocate real-time process and error budgets to system components. Generate alternative system concepts, architectures, and design solutions. Define methods, processes, and evaluation criteria for verifying systems and work products against requirements. Develop system design solutions that meet requirements and functional analysis. Review and contribute to program work breakdown structures (WBS), work packages, and the integrated master plan (IMP). Participate in creating system engineering documentation ensuring completeness, correctness, and verifiability. Establish and approve system or component definitions, including requirements, designs, interfaces, and test procedures, providing a common reference for hardware and software developers. Develop derived requirements for Information Assurance Services and Mechanisms, including security and cryptography. Implement comprehensive SOA solutions. Implement views for architectures using applicable DoDAF standards. REQUIREMENTS Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Twenty (20) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in similar scope and complexity programs. Experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related field from an accredited institution.
