$120-140k (Depending on Experience) Job Summary The IQGeo Enterprise Sales team is seeking a
Senior Solutions Engineer
in our Denver, CO USA office to support sales activity by providing technical expertise of software products and the Utility industry to existing and potential customers. This customer-facing role supports the Sales team and industry executives during the sales process. It involves formulating customer requirements, demonstrating utilities products, and supporting the bid process. Creativity, strong communication skills, and ingenuity are essential for creating and demonstrating software solutions that solve real problems. Position is located in downtown Denver, CO, or remote within the US or Canada, with flexible hours, excellent employee benefits, and growth opportunities. Supervisory Responsibilities None Duties/Responsibilities Engage proactively in the sales cycle, managing technical aspects during customer product evaluations. Meet with customers early to understand their problems. Design and implement demonstrations tailored to customer needs. Present solutions confidently to various customer stakeholders. Assist in proposal development. Represent the company at trade shows and conferences. Support the introduction of new products into the market. Develop strategic utility customer account plans. Assist sales with client business case development. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Build and present demonstrations to diverse audiences. Experience with GIS or web mapping (ESRI, QGIS, Smallworld). Industry experience with Electric networks and optionally Gas. Familiarity with electric distribution design, outage management, ADMS, asset, and work management solutions. Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Strong sales and customer service skills. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field. Minimum 5 years of relevant industry and technology experience. Physical Requirements Sitting for extended periods and working on a computer. Occasional travel within US and Canada.
