OVERVIEW Merrick & Company is seeking a full-time

Senior Electrical Engineer

for our Energy, Manufacturing & Bioprocessing department to join our team in our Greenwood Village, CO, Richmond, VA, Ellicott City, MD, or Tulsa, OK offices. This business unit supports several market sectors including but not limited to industrial food & beverage, refining, power, and advanced biofuels markets. This full-time position will be eligible for a hybrid work schedule and relocation will be considered. Typical annual pay range for this position is $125,400.00 - $162,300.00. Pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Serve as project lead on major projects and/or several projects of moderate scope with complex features. Develop electrical design documents and drawings. Analyze and approve the work of others; monitor the work performed by the team. Design low voltage power distribution, lighting, grounding, motor control systems, PLC/PAC, HMI’s, process equipment, and instrumentation. Interact with clients, customers, officials, contractors, and others. Lead project meetings and deliver presentations. Perform electrical calculations such as voltage drop, short circuit, coordination studies, arc flash, relay settings, conduit fill, lighting, and grounding. Create specifications and datasheets for electrical equipment including transformers, switchgear, MCCs. Travel to client project sites to support field walk-downs and as-built documentation. Monitor resources to ensure work aligns with project estimates. Coordinate with Design/Engineering Managers to meet project schedules and deliver complete documentation. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

At least 12 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in power, energy, oil and gas, or similar industrial sectors. Experience in developing one-line diagrams, control schematics, wiring diagrams, electrical equipment specifications, power plans, conduit plans, and cable schedules. Knowledge of technical codes and standards: NEC, IEEE, NFPA, IEC, etc. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel & Word. Familiarity with AutoCAD, REVIT, or other design software. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an A.B.E.T.-accredited institution. PE License is required. US Citizenship is required for client projects. PERKS
