$115,502 – $160,000 per year Incentive Bonus:

Offered on a case-by-case basis About the Role: We are seeking a
Director of Emergency Services
to lead a high-performing emergency department in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role is responsible for overseeing clinical, operational, and financial performance of the department while promoting high-quality, patient-centered care and driving strategic growth. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Quality & Compliance Implement evidence-based practices to improve safety and quality outcomes
Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards
Oversee patient flow, admissions, and discharge coordination
Ensure proper equipment maintenance and clinical competency of staff
Service & Patient Experience Lead strategies to enhance patient satisfaction and engagement
Ensure a consistently high level of service and care delivery
Benchmark performance metrics and implement action plans for improvement
Team Leadership & Culture Inspire and engage a culture of accountability and excellence
Develop talent through coaching, recognition, and succession planning
Maintain full staffing levels and team performance alignment
Financial & Operational Oversight Manage departmental budgeting, labor costs, and resource utilization
Drive cost-effective operations while ensuring high-quality care
Collaborate on strategic expansion of services and partnerships
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing – Required
Master’s Degree (MSN, MHA, MBA) – Preferred
RN Licensure – Required
1+ year of director-level or leadership experience – Required
3+ years of progressive leadership experience in an ER setting – Preferred
Facility Snapshot: 250-bed full-service acute care hospital
Comprehensive Stroke Center
Emergency Department: 16 beds + 4 fast track
Average ED Volume: 120 patients/day, ~40,000 annually
60–90 total FTEs including oversight of transport, trauma, and stroke monitor techs
Reports directly to the Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO)
