Join Walmart’s Marketplace team as a data-driven business analytics leader, where you’ll transform complex business challenges into actionable, scalable analytics solutions. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to deliver insights that drive strategy, shape business decisions, and fuel long-term growth at Fortune 1 scale. You’ll Sweep Us Off Our Feet If: You are a data ninja: adept at leveraging SQL and BI tools to uncover insights that drive business strategy and key decisions. You ground your recommendations in data, business objectives, and thorough research. You proactively identify opportunities for improvement and champion the application of insights to support leadership and departmental goals. You stay ahead of industry and ecommerce trends, conducting both internal and external research to inform your work. You excel at building strong relationships with cross-functional partners and stakeholders across the Marketplace organization. You are action-oriented, relentless in pursuit of goals, and motivated by delivering high-impact capabilities for long-term Marketplace growth. You are organized, disciplined, and skilled at managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. You have hands-on experience in the Marketplace channel/model and thrive in a fast-paced, challenge-rich environment. Key Responsibilities: Translate Business Challenges into Data-Driven Solutions: Partner with business leaders to define problems and develop analytical solutions. Select and apply appropriate tools, methodologies, and data sources (SQL, NoSQL). Conduct data quality checks and ensure data is fit for purpose. Apply data governance, management, and quality standards. Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. Build Scalable Analytics Products: Design and develop dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, or similar tools. Ensure analytics products are accessible, scalable, and relevant for decision-making. Drive Organizational Change: Champion a seller-obsessed mindset and promote marketplace education across Walmart. Influence and inspire others to adopt data-driven decision-making and ownership. Operate with Excellence: Own strategic programs that drive scalable growth for Marketplace. Execute with rigor, leveraging research and data to inform decisions. Represent Marketplace and engage with leadership across the organization. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced proficiency in SQL and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Looker). Experience with data governance, management, and quality standards. Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into analytical solutions. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional relationships. Experience in Marketplace channel/model and knowledge of ecommerce trends. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science) or equivalent experience. Why Walmart Marketplace?
