The General Ledger Accountant will assist and lead the monthly close process, including preparing journal entries, variance analyses, balance sheet reconciliations, and ad-hoc financial analyses. The role involves developing expertise in various areas and collaborating with cross-functional accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely financial closing. Responsibilities:
Manage the monthly close process for assigned areas. Prepare account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly. Conduct flux analyses. Coordinate with AP, Payroll, Billing/Revenue, Collections, and other teams. Assist with ad-hoc financial analyses. Support post-acquisition general ledger accounting. Lead process improvements and participate in training initiatives. Assist with coordinating the annual external audit. Respond to inquiries timely. Perform other tasks as assigned. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. 1-2 years of experience in general ledger accounting. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Proficient in data analysis and Excel. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and building effective relationships. Preferred Skills:
Experience with Intacct or similar accounting systems. CPA track candidate. This is a hybrid position based in Atlanta. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. Additional Details:
