We are seeking an Associate Attorney with a passion for advocating on behalf of individuals, particularly those who have been wronged by large corporations or firms. If you are driven by a desire to help those who cannot help themselves, we would love for you to join our team. Key Responsibilities
Case Load Management & Resolution Efficiency
Manage an active case load of 40-60 cases, ensuring timely resolution. Successfully close cases through settlement, mediation, or trial. Target average case resolution time based on case complexity. Maximize client recovery through efficient case management.
Client Satisfaction & Communication
Achieve a high client satisfaction score through effective communication. Respond to client inquiries within 24 business hours. Generate client referrals through exceptional service.
Billable Hours & Productivity
Meet annual billable hours target of 1,800-2,000 hours. Ensure compliance with daily time entry, with minimal late or missing entries.
Legal Skills & Case Outcomes
Achieve favorable case outcomes, including settlements, judgments, or verdicts. Conduct accurate legal research with 90%+ accuracy. Achieve success in dispositive motion practice.
Professional Development & Leadership
Complete Continuing Legal Education (CLE) hours annually in personal injury or related fields. Mentor junior associates and paralegals, contributing to training and development.
Collaboration & Firm Contribution
Foster teamwork and collaboration, with positive feedback from peers and leadership. Participate in firm-wide initiatives, such as marketing, pro bono work, and community outreach.
Trial & Negotiation Performance
Actively participate in trials as first or second chair or lead case strategist. Achieve a high success rate in settlement negotiations, aiming for favorable outcomes.
Settlement & Litigation Strategy Development
Develop comprehensive litigation strategies for assigned cases. Secure pre-trial settlements reflecting full and fair value for clients.
Compliance & Risk Management
Maintain 100% on-time filing compliance with court deadlines and discovery cutoffs. Adhere to ethical and professional standards with zero client complaints.
