MAJOR DUTIES: Serve as the primary care physician for adolescent and adult patients. Order a full range of radiology and laboratory tests, make diagnoses, and prescribe appropriate treatments. Teach and consult with other healthcare providers as assigned. Complete all required records in accordance with procedures and regulations. Provide oversight as the medical director of the troop medical clinic, immunizations team, and soldier processing center. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Basic Requirement for Physician (Family Practice): Degree:

MD, DO, or equivalent from an accredited school in the US or Canada. Foreign degrees must demonstrate equivalency through certification or examination. Licensure:

Must possess a current, active, unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a US state, DC, Puerto Rico, or US territory. Graduate Training:

At least one year of supervised clinical experience post-degree, such as an internship or first-year residency in an accredited institution. Additional qualification requirements include successful completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine and at least 4 years of equivalent experience and training. Experience cannot substitute for required residency training.
