Program Director , you will have oversight and be responsible for coordinating and managing the overall assigned program or programs (residential and/or day program) related to individuals with developmental disabilities (IDD).
This position involves both direct care and supervisory duties. The primary responsibilities include personnel management and program coordination, such as hiring qualified staff, ensuring completion of orientation, and providing ongoing training. The
Program Director
is responsible for monitoring all aspects of the program, including developing individual goals and plans, and implementing the program. The
Program Director
also oversees the coordination and management of the program's operations, medical, financial, and maintenance aspects, guiding and directing the lead direct support professional or site designee. HOURS: Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to be on call as needed, including working weekends and odd hours. Qualifications
WHAT WE LOOK FOR: At least 2-3 years of management experience and working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Bachelor’s degree in a human services field preferred; a minimum of one year of full-time, paid, direct experience working with participants with developmental or intellectual disabilities. Valid driver’s license and driving record that meet insurance requirements. Experience in developing and implementing participant programs, managing budgets, and supervising staff is preferred. Good decision-making, time management, communication skills, and a responsible, mature, and flexible attitude are required. Additional Information
