is seeking an
Aviation Project Manager
to join our national aviation team to oversee and direct airport terminal improvements. We have
projects nationwide at all major airports including
CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, MD, NY, NC, OH, SC, TN, TX, and more.
A successful candidate will need significant aviation experience and have previously managed design or construction within an active airport terminal environment.
Responsibilities include:
Provide project management, technical oversight, and leadership for all phases of aviation projects associated with capital improvements, including business case development, stakeholder engagement, design management, procurement, permitting, approvals, scheduling, project delivery, cost and change management, safety, quality control, and ORAT.
Guide discipline managers and contractors to address program challenges, risk management, innovation, schedule, and budget performance.
Ensure responsibilities are accomplished with a high level of quality exceeding client expectations.
Develop project processes, controls, and governance aligned with project goals.
Manage all aspects of project planning and development, including engineering, pre-construction, bidding, scheduling, cost estimating, budgeting, systems and facility integration, and commissioning.
Coordinate with stakeholders such as airport divisions, airlines, regulatory agencies, and delivery partners.
Oversee the development and integration of project schedules.
Utilize earned value management to track project progress.
Conduct design and construction meetings.
Drive project deliverables to meet deadlines.
Present progress updates to stakeholders.
Use electronic tools like Primavera P6, PMIS, and related software.
Coordinate traffic management, utility shutdowns, impact notices, and contingency plans.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing capital projects/programs over $10M.
Knowledge of airport operations, design, and construction.
Experience overseeing multiple construction activities in complex infrastructure projects.
Required Education/Accreditation
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management preferred.
Comparable experience may substitute for educational requirements.
Compensation Range: $122,944.48 - $163,925.98
