Introduction
Our client is a hospital that provides care exclusively for cats and dogs, and they are currently seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position offering a schedule of 36 to 40 hours per week, with rotating Saturday shifts required. The hospital is open from 7:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday, and from 7:30am to 12:00pm on Saturdays. It is closed on Sundays.
Role Description And Responsibilities
This is a full-service general practice role, with responsibilities spanning surgery, dentistry, wellness care, and internal medicine. The hospital welcomes applications from both experienced veterinarians and confident new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital is proud to be AAHA-accredited and maintains high standards of care. It is equipped with digital radiography, in-house ultrasound, a digital dental radiograph unit, and a fully equipped rehabilitation center that includes underwater treadmills and laser therapy. This full-service GP setting also offers opportunities to develop special interests, including rehabilitation and pain management.
Team
The hospital has five DVMs, four of whom have been with the practice for between 9 and 22 years. The team operates in a collaborative and supportive environment, with a strong technician-to-doctor ratio.
Candidate Requirements
Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA) Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
