Key Responsibilities
Lead project planning and development across engineering, construction, and technical support. Oversee program schedules, budgets, funding allocations, and closeout procedures. Manage program planners, ensuring alignment with stakeholder goals. Develop and execute funding strategies, including leveraging grants and partnerships. Conduct value engineering and mitigate cost overruns. Produce executive reports and participate in litigation support when needed. Evaluate and enhance program effectiveness, policies, and reporting practices. Facilitate community engagement and stakeholder communication on high-profile projects. Mediate project conflicts and participate in change order and contract negotiations. Provide mentorship and document lessons learned to continually improve team performance.
Qualifications
Required Experience: 10+ years of professional experience managing and administering complex programs and projects. At least 4 years managing programs within public or educational institutions. Experience concurrently managing multiple public sector programs is strongly preferred. Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management. Additional experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis. Licenses & Certifications (All Required): CCM, PE, Licensed Architect are preferred not required. LEED Professional Accreditation
