You will transform our data systems and architecture to support greater variety, volume, and velocity of data and data sources. You will extract data from various sources, connect them, and make them suitable for use in software systems, developing models and algorithms. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Technology Services.

Position Compensation Range:

$128,000.00 - $216,000.00

Compensation may vary based on job level and geographic location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities

You will oversee quality standards, policies, and metrics for delivery with a focus on technology.

You will set the standard for test automation technology.

You will create and lead automated test strategies.

You will collaborate and drive the strategic implementation of test cases.

You will enhance test case coverage through automation.

You will improve metrics across automation teams.

You will demonstrate management skills in understanding project goals, individual roles, the delivery process, and in unblocking testing issues through escalation.

You will demonstrate personal discipline in goal setting and achieving results.

Specialized Skills Requirements

Knowledge of application development methodologies (e.g., Agile) and product-based teams.

Experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, MQ, Kafka.

Knowledge of System Administration and Network Management (firewalls, proxies, IP management, routing, DNS).

Experience in multiple IT areas like development, testing, deployment, monitoring.

Experience building automation for cloud environments using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Linux Shell, Bash, PowerShell.

Experience with CI tools like Jenkins, BitBucket, GitLab.

Experience establishing and supporting integration and communication protocols between applications, databases, and platforms.

Preferred Certifications (not required)

Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate

Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator

Red Hat Certified System Administrator

Red Hat Certified Specialist in Containers

Additional Information

Travel up to 10%

Work involves sitting/standing; physical requirements are minimal.

Work location is flexible with a minimum of 10 days per month in Madison, WI or Boston, MA. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the location (35 miles for Boston).
