Recruitment Business Development Manager – Tech | AI | Software | Automation New York City | Remote/Hybrid Friendly Full-Time | Permanent Boston Quantara, part of Bright Group International (BGI), is a fast-growing and ambitious talent consultancy originally founded in the UK. We're now expanding our presence in the U.S., with a strong focus on the New York tech market. We’re seeking a Recruitment Business Development Manager to drive growth across our specialist verticals. With ambitious plans to hit £250M in revenue by 2029, this is a prime moment to shape your future in a business that’s built for high performance The Role As a Business Development Manager, you'll play a critical role in expanding our U.S. client base across the AI, software, and digital tech sectors within recruitment and talent acquisition. This is a strategic, relationship-led role focused on opening new accounts, building long-term partnerships, and working closely with our global recruitment team to deliver exceptional results. Identify and develop new recruitment business opportunities with startups, scaleups, and enterprise clients across the U.S. Engage senior decision-makers (CTOs, Heads of Talent, Hiring Managers) to understand hiring needs and effectively position our services Represent the business at industry events, networking groups, online communities, and client meetings Collaborate with experienced recruiters to deliver high-quality, specialized talent solutions across AI, ML, RPA, governance, and emerging tech markets Stay current on industry trends, hiring patterns, and emerging opportunities Operate with a high level of independence while working collaboratively with our global team What We're Looking For: Proven experience in business development within the tech recruitment industry (agency or search firm experience required) is essential A strong network in one or more of the following areas: AI, software engineering, data science, RPA, digital transformation A confident communicator with the ability to win new business and build lasting, trust-based relationships Entrepreneurial mindset — self-starter, goal-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment Based in or familiar with the New York market (preferred, not required) What You’ll Get In Return; Remote-first flexibility, work from anywhere, with optional hybrid working in NYC Uncapped commission and competitive base salary Join a collaborative, high-performing team with global reach and strong delivery infrastructure Autonomy to shape your client base, market focus, and sales strategy Work with cutting-edge clients and make your mark as we grow our U.S. presence Tools provided: Bullhorn, LinkedIn Recruiter, SourceWhale, Apollo, and more Boston Quantara, part of the BGI Group, delivers industry-leading recruitment solutions across AI, Intelligent Automation, and AI Governance, supporting both public and private sector clients across the U.S. and internationally.
