Job Summary:
The Data & Financial Operations Governance VP will support the Chief Data & Financial Operations (CDFO) management team in managing Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) governance activities with our business partners and lines of defense. Responsibilities include leading the Third-Party Intake process to evaluate risks and determine necessary controls, liaising with SMEs across the firm, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in Third-Party Risk Management or related governance roles, with knowledge of risk management practices, control documentation, assessment, testing, and policy development. Expertise in third-party and outsourcing risk management within financial services or regulated industries is preferred. A strong understanding of regulations such as CFR 12 – Part 30, OCC Bulletins, and familiarity with international regulatory bodies is essential.
Responsibilities
Evaluate third-party risks and collaborate on mitigation strategies.
Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on governance documents.
Review policies and procedures for consistency with enterprise standards.
Participate in industry associations and regulatory comment processes.
Support policy updates, governance projects, and compliance testing.
Lead development and maintenance of governance processes and standards.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and promote data governance culture.
Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
BA or BS degree; advanced degrees in law, finance, or risk management are a plus.
7+ years of experience in compliance, audit, risk, or legal roles.
Strong analytical, organizational, and process skills.
Experience in governance, risk management, and policy development.
Knowledge of data governance principles and frameworks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
The base salary range for this role is $114K - $160K, depending on experience and location. The role may include performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, retirement, training, and paid leave. For more details, see our
