Support the development, advancement, and sustainment of weapon systems for the U.S. Space Force (USSF) and its partners. Join a team with expertise in environments including ground, near-space, and space, addressing strategic, operational, and tactical needs for the Department of Defense (DoD). QinetiQ collaborates with USSF and DoD to design, develop, field, and maintain critical national security requirements. We seek an Acquisition Manager for the Director’s Action Group (DAG) in Huntsville, AL, to oversee space program acquisition and sustainment. The ideal candidate has 15+ years of relevant experience supporting space programs, including duties related to business and program operations. Responsibilities
Provide advice and recommendations for aligning acquisitions, manpower, and funding. Coordinate and resolve issues, facilitating team communications. Support program acquisition efforts, technology development, and integration activities. Advise on cost, schedule, and performance matters. Support high-visibility engagements, including congressional commitments and taskers. Required Qualifications
15+ years of relevant experience supporting space programs. Experience with comparative cost and requirement systems, MAR Reporting Software, and TMT. Understanding of acquisition processes, DoD space launch, ground, and sustainment projects. Support experience with Higher Headquarters, Air Force, Space Command, and familiarity with acquisition terminology. Background in Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Statistics. MA/MS degree. TS/SCI clearance. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Air Force and Space Force acquisitions. Previous Space Force Business Operations or Director’s Action Group experience. Company EEO Statement
