Traffic Project Manager

to join our growing team! In this position, you’ll be responsible for leading Traffic Design and Planning projects of varying complexity across all HR Green regions. Additionally, you will develop and maintain relationships with key clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead and manage project and project team activities. Prepare thorough project proposals, scopes, budgets, and professional service agreements. Create, implement, and monitor project schedules and allocate appropriate resources. Manage project financials, invoicing, and assist with accounts receivable. Assign and communicate budgets, schedules, and deadlines to the project team. Provide clear guidance and supervision to the project team; make critical decisions to keep the project on schedule and within budget. Create and maintain positive relationships with existing clients and serve as the primary contact. Promote repeat and referral business and actively seek new opportunities. Develop, coach, and mentor staff; delegate tasks/responsibilities as appropriate; provide on-the-job training. Provide feedback on the performance of project team members. Education and Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited engineering university in a relevant discipline. 8+ years of relevant engineering experience focusing on Traffic projects including studies, analysis, traffic signal design, and modeling. Possess a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; PTOE Certification is a plus. Ability to effectively manage project financials, schedules, and budgets. Strong relationship-building skills with clients and internal staff. Effective delegation skills to focus on management tasks. Excellent written and verbal communication, along with critical thinking skills. Proven client management skills; leading projects to generate repeat and referral clients. Efficient time management to handle multiple projects with minimal supervision. Strong leadership, delegation, and communication skills within project teams. Effective communication with clients, agencies, and disciplines. Ability and desire to lead, mentor, train, and develop team members. Experience with HCS,

Synchro/SimTraffic , VISSIM, Corsim,

Microstation/Geopak , SignCAD, and Rodel is preferred. Participation in professional organizations such as ITE, ITS America, ASCE, and APWA is desirable.
