We also take into consideration market benchmarks, if and when appropriate, and internal equity to ensure fair compensation relative to the university’s broader compensation structure. The position will provide an academic appointment at Rutgers University commensurate with level of experience and achievement. The commitment to the academic mission of Rutgers and RWJMS allows for educational opportunities across the spectrum of trainees including medical students, residents and fellows in the institution. There will also be the potential for either clinical or lab bench research; however, the position is designed currently to be predominantly clinical. As the premier academic pediatric service in the state, we look to recruit a provider interested in excellence in all aspects of care. The greater New Brunswick area offers diverse housing opportunities, excellent school systems, a wide range of recreational activities, and easy access to New York City, Philadelphia, and the New Jersey coast.
