This is a
remote, part-time or contract role
for a
Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Consultant
at Reactforce. The Consultant will support the
development, implementation, and maintenance
of business continuity and disaster recovery (BC/DR) strategies for our clients. The role involves working with clients to
analyze vulnerabilities, assess risks, and document recovery plans , while also contributing to
testing, training, and awareness activities . This is a
fantastic opportunity to learn and grow
in the fields of
risk management, cybersecurity, and operational resilience , while working directly with experienced industry leaders. Key Responsibilities
Assist in the
development, review, and maintenance
of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) plans. Conduct
risk assessments and business impact analyses (BIA)
to identify critical processes, systems, and dependencies. Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to
define requirements and recovery strategies . Support
BCP testing exercises
and prepare reports with recommendations for improvements. Stay informed on
industry best practices and regulatory requirements
for business continuity and disaster recovery. Provide
consulting services related to cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance
where needed. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively with stakeholders. Qualifications
Strong
analytical and enterprise risk management
skills. Knowledge or experience in
business continuity, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity consulting . Strong communication and client-facing abilities. Ability to work independently and remotely while managing multiple priorities. Knowledge of
compliance regulations
and risk frameworks. Bachelor’s degree in
Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Finance, or related field
(or equivalent experience). Relevant certifications (e.g., CBCP, CRISC) are a
plus but not required . Seniority level
