Join a team that applies expertise in mechanical design and analysis to improve techniques, procedures, products, and technologies. You will design products to meet customer needs, ensure product quality and manufacturability, participate in new product development, prototype builds, testing, and may serve as a project manager for smaller projects. Your role will be vital in driving product improvements and securing future business by exceeding Voice of Customer requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and analyze accelerometers
Perform accelerometer analysis using ANSYS and other software
Prepare technical reports and documentation, including white papers for leadership and customers
Create 3D models
Write specifications
Lead root cause and corrective action (RCCA) activities
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Physics
US Citizenship due to contractual requirements
Ability to obtain security clearance
≥20 years of professional experience
≥3 years of experience with GDT
≥15 years of experience with design tools like Creo, SolidWorks, ANSYS, AutoCAD, Fluent, etc.

Knowledge of anisotropic and piezo-electric materials
Experience with digital twins and model-based systems engineering (MBSE)

Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Creativity and eagerness for hands-on work
Six Sigma certification and application
Strong communication skills for complex topics
Open, honest, team-oriented personality
