Corporate Controller

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, which include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk. Responsibilities Manage accounting teams Oversee the month end close process for the plants and A/R Prepare, review and analyze financial information so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making financial decisions Assist with annual external audits, providing supporting data and addressing any audit findings Assist in the annual plant budget preparation Assist with annual business insurance renewals and overall program administration Identify and drive process improvements, automation and standardization that will reduce exposure to financial misstatements as well as result in greater efficiencies Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure within multiple systems Assist in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base and understanding of GAAP Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's in Accounting Minimum of 7 years of experience including with cost accounting within a large manufacturing environment are required 5 years in a management role leading a team of accounting/finance professionals Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Seniority level
