Base pay range
$145,000.00/yr - $155,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Connect Search, LLC As Controller, you will be a key member of our leadership team, responsible for maintaining financial integrity, driving cost efficiencies, and supporting strategic growth. This role requires strong
cost accounting experience
and a proactive approach to managing plant-level financial performance. Key Responsibilities: Direct day-to-day accounting operations for two manufacturing facilities Supervise and mentor a team of six finance and accounting staff Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes Oversee cost accounting, inventory controls, and production analysis Prepare and present financial statements, budgets, and variance reports Partner with plant managers to drive operational improvements and cost savings Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including plant or manufacturing accounting Strong background in
cost accounting
and financial reporting Prior experience managing teams and multi-site operations Hands-on, detail-oriented, and results-driven This is an excellent opportunity to join a
