About the Role Seaport Entertainment is looking for a Recruiter to support our New York hospitality locations. The Recruiter will promote and grow the business, hire and train waitstaff, and ensure that patrons are receiving excellent drinks, food, and service. You will also manage inventory and resources, plan promotional events, ensure that quality and safety controls are followed, maintain current licenses and update vendor contracts, create schedules, and set business objectives to increase profits and maximize customer satisfaction. You should also be able to work with diverse personalities and diffuse tense situations. What You Will Do Partner with departmental leaders, Talent Acquisition Manager, and Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to assist in recruiting needs. Source and attract highly qualified candidates, conduct interviews, establish, and maintain a strong recruiting pipeline. Recruit for all assigned open positions and communicate timely actions and next steps with team and hiring managers. Leverage online recruiting resources, in-house recruiting platforms, and ATS to identify the best candidates. Create/update job descriptions and detailed search assignments, understanding job duties, responsibilities, and business requirements. Provide exceptional recruitment experience to candidates and manage full lifecycle recruiting, including special search assignments. Generate and screen resumes and applications, schedule interviews, and conduct in-depth interviews. Prepare candidates for interviews with specific hiring managers by providing detailed information on the company, background, job descriptions, and expectations. Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates. Facilitate the end-to-end recruitment cycle from initial screening to offer. Engage with recruiters and headhunters, including Tin Building by Jean-Georges partners. Ensure constant communication and follow-up with candidates, leaders, and headhunters/recruiters. Utilize Ceridian ATS system daily, update trackers, and generate reports with accuracy. Manage expectations, processes, and multiple projects simultaneously. Operate ethically to protect the company's image. Maintain flexible schedule availability to meet business demands. Perform other duties as required. About You At least 4 years of recruiting experience, preferably in high-volume industries within Food & Beverage and/or Hospitality. Passionate, entrepreneurial, and dedicated to success. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Effective teamwork skills. Strong communication skills (verbal, non-verbal, electronic). Genuinely friendly interpersonal skills. Excellent computer, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Ability to delegate responsibilities and maximize resources. Ability to walk, stand, and occasionally carry heavy items in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential job functions safely and successfully, complying with ADA, FMLA, and other standards. Regular punctual attendance. Lift and carry items weighing 10–30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Stand for entire workday. Move within the environment, bend, lift, reach, climb steps, and perform related physical activities.
