Design, develop, implement, test, document, and deliver large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using multi-threaded programming, distributed programming in Java and C++, JDBC, SQL, Object-Oriented design and patterns, Oracle, and middleware messaging systems in a Linux environment. Assist in gathering and analyzing business and functional requirements, translating them into technical specifications for robust, scalable, supportable solutions that fit within the overall system architecture. Own the delivery of entire system or application components and serve as a technical lead on complex projects following best engineering practices. Produce comprehensive, usable software documentation. Participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation and travel as needed for onsite troubleshooting or project launches. Qualifications:
MS in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field plus one year of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree plus five years of progressively responsible experience in the field. Experience must include multi-threaded and distributed programming in Java or C++ on Linux, JDBC, SQL, and Object-Oriented design and patterns. Must be available for travel and a 24x7 on-call rotation. Candidate Requirements:
3+ years professional software development 2+ years system architecture/design Strong data structures and algorithms (DSA) and system design knowledge Experience with distributed systems and cloud computing (AWS) Version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, database management Problem-solving and team collaboration skills Previous client contracting/work experience Frontend development experience Secondary Skills:
CS degree or advanced education Experience with building AI Agents Event-driven architecture, data modeling, infrastructure as code Multiple programming languages, DevOps/SRE practices, Agile methodologies Leadership, technical writing, and presentation skills Top 3 Hard Skills:
Programming Languages: Java, TypeScript, Python Cloud development (AWS) End-to-end software development technologies
