We are looking for an experienced
Full Stack Engineer
to drive forward and enhance our products and systems. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, has extensive experience with startups or startup-like cultures, and is accustomed to and thrives in a very high-paced environment. The candidate has a strong vision for best-in-class software architecture and security, as well as a strong commitment to quality and engineering best practices. Were looking for engineers who like working in small teams where everyone matters. The candidate will be afforded broad autonomy and play a crucial role in both maintaining our current platforms while shaping the future vision rooted in the latest and greatest technologies. Success Criteria
Design, build and release new product features on time and with high quality. Work directly with Product and other business functions to advance their understanding of existing systems and technical feasibility of new features. Meaningfully contribute to the overall technology strategy through active contributions to architecture, best practices, tooling, and culture. Deliver measurable business value through identifying and implementing novel business solutions and opportunities using technology. Be a great colleague and fantastic team member. Capable of growing into a leader, as the allwhere team expands. Qualifications
7+ years of engineering experience, 3+ years of full stack. Demonstrated track record of delivering solutions and value in early-stage startups and ability to create structure and drive results in highly dynamic environments. Demonstrated passion and results for driving technical excellence at multiple jobs over the years. Demonstrated track record of improving team capabilities and creating business impact. Demonstrated passion for and commitment to a growth mindset. Reads books and blogs. Continuously learns new technologies and challenges ones comfort zone. Strong passion for everything engineering, specifically complex web-based platforms and SaaS APIs. Deep expertise with React, JS, Node/Nest.js, Rest, GraphQL, SQL, and NoSQL databases. Experience with AWS is a plus. Expertise in relevant Figma plugins is a plus. Ability to shape API contracts from the frontend perspective. Comprehensive expertise with frontend and backend testing and related tooling - unit tests, end-to-end tests, integration tests, etc. Expertise in frontend and backend performance testing and tuning. Strong understanding of QA process, QA needs and dependencies, and a track record of closely collaborating with QA on establishing/enhancing frontend-related quality processes and outcomes. Excellent architectural foundation and engineering intuition, including but not limited to a working understanding of design patterns, UML, and industry architecture use cases. Demonstrated track record of being a great team player and making a meaningful positive difference in ones team performance and colleagues career success. Engineering/CS BS degree is a strong plus. Authorized to work in the US. Comfortable with being 3 times in the allwhere NYC office.
