American Operations is looking for a Senior Systems Analyst. The Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command, The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) has a broad and diverse research, development, test and evaluation (RDTE) portfolio with an emphasis on warfare systems development and integration. NSWCDD is determined to standardize and automate processes and procedures to become more efficient, structured, and transparent in its mission to provide services such as RDTE, analysis, systems engineering, integration and certification of complex naval warfare systems. NSWCDD endeavors to deliver IT solutions that are transformational and agile with innovation, collaboration, and speedy delivery through a rapidly scalable and adaptable IT ecosystem characterized by on-demand network bandwidth, storage/compute power, and secure end-user data access from anywhere, at any time, from any device. Responsibilities Acts as a lead in performing systems analysis of computer and communications/networks systems. Oversees the overall installation of computer operating systems, network, and application software, hypervisors and other Cloud Computing infrastructure components, SOA software (ESBs, Web Servers, Business Process Software, Portal Servers). Has the ability to adapt to new situations and environments. Possesses keen troubleshooting skills to assist other Systems Analysts and Program Managers to analyze enterprise information and architectures, process workflow management, and technology. Performs systems analysis of computer and networking systems. Supports other Systems Analysts and Program Managers, as required. Oversees the overall integration of all systems peripherals so that they can operate correctly within a predefined environment. Oversees hotline support to enterprise customers. Analyzes and develops technical documentation detailing the installation procedures. May perform other duties, as assigned. Qualifications Possess a Bachelors degree and the equivalent of ten (10) years of relevant experience. American Ops is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
