Outside Sales – Northeast Territory Manager
Chapin & Bangs is a premier Steel Service Center committed to providing superior products and service to our valued customers since 1888.
We are currently seeking an Outside Sales - Territory Manager to cover some select areas of
Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island
. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, hard-working, driven individual who is compelled to deliver excellent customer support and who can help grow the territory and maintain long term relationships.The territory is rich with established accounts but also presents plenty of opportunities for new business development. The Outside Sales - Territory Manager will be required to: ·Manage a territory and sales quota ·Initiate sales calls to prospective and current clients within the sales territory ·Identify, communicate and respond to opportunities to impact sales and customer relations ·Maintain accurate and up-to-date contacts and sales call records using CRM software ·Identify potential value-added service opportunities ·And work seamlessly with the inside sales team, management, and warehouse employees Job Requirements: ·1-3 years of proven successful sales experience ·Good communication and time management skills ·Ability to problem solve ·Outgoing personality with expertise in developing relationships ·Knowledge of carbon, alloy, stainless and tool steel products We offer a competitive benefits package that includes:Health & Dental insurance, Life insurance, Long-Term Disability and 401(k).
