Req#: 5227 Operate & Maintain a Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) architecture supporting the Distributed Training System Simulation & Stimulation (DTS Sim/Stim) for Command Control Battle Management Communications (C2BMC) Warfighter training at the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC), Schriever Space Force Base, CO, during night shifts. Maintain RHEL computer systems, coordinate with system and network administration teams, monitor system resources, perform security functions, set up user accounts, document systems, optimize performance, install software, and manage storage. Support daily training operations, interfacing with C2BMC and Ground Based Mid-Course Defense (GMD) Systems Trainer (GST). Collaborate within a small team, including Cyber Security and Integration team members, to plan and execute missile defense training events for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and other stakeholders. Handle events involving Warfighter Operator-In-The-Loop (OITL) participation and missile defense system simulations. Qualifications: Associate's degree and 5 years of experience, or equivalent experience. Ability to install, troubleshoot, repair, operate, and maintain computers and network equipment. Experience with building Linux systems (physical and virtual). Proficiency in RHEL System Administration and OS patching. At least one Linux certification (e.g., Linux+, LPIC, RHCSA, RHCE). Current or ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance. Desired Skills: Navigation of Linux directory structures and file systems. Salary range: $88,000 - $98,000.
