Senior Application Architect with over 10+ years experience in the entire software lifecycle, application architecture, software development, system analysis, database design and development, and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). The role involves leading the SIGMA, JobNet, TAMC, PPMS, and MiLogin interface project design, development, and implementation. The candidate should possess strong technical understanding of systems and database architecture, dependencies, and strategic technical decision-making skills to support the implementation of these interfacing systems. The individual should be a self-starter with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines and responding effectively to stakeholder needs. Skills Required Skills Preferred Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with business owners to understand goals, requirements, and set priorities. Prepare and review technical design documents. Lead a team of technical leads, developers, and staff with diverse backgrounds. Identify and communicate complex technical and non-technical issues to stakeholders and management. Create visually compelling user interfaces based on user-centered design principles. Analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications, performing impact analysis. Extensive experience in Java/JEE architecture, design, and development using Agile and waterfall methodologies. Design, develop, and deploy web components using servlets, JSPs, Spring Framework (including AOP and dependency injection), JDBC, Hibernate, and JPA. Architect core business application components, working with development leads to implement solutions using Java/JEE, SOA, and JBoss drools rules engine. Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practices. Review existing Java/JEE interface architecture, enhance features, and develop web services using SOA design patterns and Spring Framework. Design and develop SOAP web services, WSDL, UDDI, and convert data to JSON for UI rendering; integrate with other systems. Generate schema-based XML files for system integration. Work within Agile and traditional waterfall project environments. Database development using Oracle PL/SQL, including designing data models, writing stored procedures, functions, triggers, and tuning queries. Manage data analysis, cleansing, migration, and testing activities. Coordinate testing phases and user acceptance testing with stakeholders. Report potential issues, risks, and concerns to project management. Collaborate with development, SOA, DBA, and configuration management teams to ensure successful releases and communication.
