The Senior Manager, IT Application Support manages or leads a team of IT professionals in providing a range of application support and services ensuring enterprise operating standards are met and business objectives are achieved. Depth & Scope: Responsible for managing multiple, broad and highly complex teams and/or projects which are diverse in scope Sets direction at an operational level, works autonomously in the management of the unit and collaborates with other business heads to establish and execute on common goals Directs/manages large-scale applications/systems/projects across multiple product lines/businesses, involving significant scope and complexity Directs/manages a large group (e.g., up to 50) of IT professionals Understands strategic direction (including financials) and champions alliances to benefit the Bank, advocates for operational improvements to enhance value to the organization Directs the development of resolutions, plans and strategies for operational advancement Key contact internally and externally Education & Experience: Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate Graduate degree, preferred 10+ years relevant experience Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of demonstrated technical experience with Cloud Technologies & Frameworks Windows/Red hat Linux Server operating systems/SQL or Oracle Database Java or .NET application experience Retail Banking Technology experience Banking Regulation Understanding 5+ years of demonstrated leadership behaviors with Building, maturing & empowering teams Identifying process improvement & leading associated change Ability to successfully deliver competing priority items Proven success in self-managing roles with minimal supervision Who We Are: TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
