Data Migration Developer

Join the Billing Solutions Automation and Reporting Team at Spectrum, where innovation meets impact. As a Data Migration Developer, you will play a critical role in the transition from an Oracle-based data warehouse to Snowflake, supporting SQL updates, SSIS package modifications, and automation workflows. You’ll contribute to large-scale data modernization efforts that affect millions of Spectrum customers nationwide. Job Responsibilities: Support the full migration lifecycle from Oracle to Snowflake. Update and optimize SQL scripts and queries to align with Snowflake architecture. Refactor or rebuild existing SSIS packages and SQL Server jobs as needed. Assist with the update and reconfiguration of automation jobs. Collaborate with a team of Analysts and Developers to deliver scalable, custom solutions. Troubleshoot, document, and resolve issues related to data transformation and workflow automation. Contribute to ad hoc requests and custom reporting during the migration process. Ensure smooth integration and transition with minimal disruption to ongoing services. Required Skills:

Strong proficiency in SQL with experience in both Oracle and Snowflake environments. Hands-on experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SQL Server. Proficiency in scripting or programming with Python and/or Java. Ability to analyze complex datasets and troubleshoot migration-related issues. Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills:

Experience working in large-scale data warehouse environments. Familiarity with automation tools or workflow orchestration platforms. Telecom or billing systems experience is a plus. Certifications:

Relevant certifications in Snowflake, SQL Server, or Oracle are a plus but not mandatory.
