Position Overview
This role focuses on maintaining and supporting Google Cloud Platform (GCP) applications, specifically Document AI (DOC AI) for MDHHS vital records. The position involves developing and maintaining solutions that streamline business processes, ensure data integrity, and maintain SEM/SUITE compliance. As a technical lead, you will guide other developers while participating in analytical assignments for project enhancement, integration, and implementation.
Core Technical Requirements
(Minimum 3 years experience required in each) AI/ML Frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-learn NLP Tools: SpaCy, NLTK, or Hugging Face's Transformers OCR Technologies: Tesseract, Google Vision API, or AWS Textract Chatbot Development: Dialogflow ES/CX, Google Assistant SDK Cloud Computing: GCP solutions design, building, and management Web Development: Angular/React JS API Development: RESTful APIs and webhooks Primary Responsibilities Maintain and enhance DOC AI system for marriage license processing Lead technical development and provide guidance to team members Ensure data integrity and system security compliance Design and implement AI/ML solutions Develop and optimize chatbot applications Manage large-scale data processing and analysis Create and maintain documentation and technical specifications Implement and maintain quality assurance practices Advanced proficiency in Oracle/Data Bricks/Elastic/ELK Expertise in data preprocessing and analysis Strong understanding of neural networks and computer vision Proficiency in unit testing and integration testing Experience with debugging and performance monitoring Knowledge of conversation design and user experience principles Professional Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities Leadership and team guidance abilities Excellent communication and documentation skills Project management and organizational abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Project Context The DOC AI system is crucial for: Scanning paper marriage licenses Extracting index information and images to FileNet Storage in VERA (on-premises application) Maintaining data integrity and accuracy in patient information Critical Impact This role is essential to prevent: Data integrity issues Work Requirements Must be able to work onsite 2 days per week Flexible schedule coordination with team Ability to manage multiple project priorities Commitment to maintaining system stability and security This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI technologies while making a significant impact on vital records management systems within MDHHS.
